Jay-Z – 4:44 ( Review )

On June 30th 2017 Jay Z Released His 13th Studio Album Titled ” 4:44. Jay Z Haven’t Released A Project Since 2013 With ” Magna Carta Holy Grail. When Announced That 4:44 Would Be Exclusive To Only Tidal Members, It Showed That If You Are A True Jay Z Fan You Had To Purchase Tidal To Be The First To Hear It, With The Reaction Of 4:44 Jay Did Not Disappoint In Any Way Possible.

The First Track Is Titled ” Kill Jay Z Where Jay Is Going Threw His Past & Seeing His Mistakes Also Stating Events That Fans Never Knew. This Album Really Breaks Down A Lot Of Key Points With Positive Broad Messages. One Of My Favorite Tracks Is ” 4:44 Because It Shows Jay Stepping Up As A Man Owning His Mistakes He Made To The Mother Of His Kids “Beyoncé, With Also Admitting That He Was Being Childish & Did Not Appreciate What He Had. With Songs Like ” The Story Of O.J, I Love How Jay Breaks Down So Many Topics Like African Americans Being Looked At Using The N Word So Loosely That It Makes Other People Only See Them In That Matter, Also Stating Why Jewish People Own Most Of The Businesses In America, Because They See The More Important Tools Then Just Waisting There Money, Or One Of The Biggest Lines That Sparked A Huge Discussion The Hip-Hop Community Which Was Jay Calling Artist Out For Having Money To There Ears & Stating That’s Not How Money Is Carried On Jay Side.

When This Project Was Released Many People Felt It Was Too Deep For Many Fans To Understand. Personally I Feel The Album Wasn’t Too Deep, You Just Had To Get A Clear Understanding Of Jay Z’s Background If Your Not Familiar With It & Also Grasp On Many Things That Fans Were Shocked To Find Out Like Jay Revealing That His Mother Is A Lesbian, Or Him Shooting His Own Brother.

This Album Deserves A Solid 8/10 For Great Content, Amazing Stories, Good Production & For A Fantastic Body Of Work. Jay Z Shows That Even With A New Style Of Hip-Hop Being Promoted Today He Still Is One Of The Greatest Rappers To Live.
