ASAP Ferg – Always Striving ( Rapid Review )

( RAPID REVIEWS !!!!!! Is A New Concept On Slum Music Which Goes Straight To The Point, When Discussing ONLY MIXTAPES & EP’s ( Not Albums ). Hopefully You Enjoy This Easy Break threw, And Thank You For Reading Slum Music.  )

Still Striving was released on August 18th 2017. This is Ferg’s latest project since releasing his sophomore album, Always Strive And Prosper, and it seems that instead of  digging deep into a more personal side, Ferg decides to release a project full of club bangers with some of the biggest names in hip-hop at this moment. Ferg packs the tracklist with 14 features with only 14 tracks it seems that Ferg is really pushing to get his music out before his group, ASAP Mob releases there collaborative album, Cozy Tapes Vol 2.

The mixtape starts off on a high note when Ferg brings in his first featured artist, Meek Mill on the first track titled, Trap And A Dream. Ferg brings heavy emotion, and charisma as well some great lyrics with Meek by his side. When hearing Trap And A Dream it sums up what you will get from most of this project, A lot of heavy based tracks with a reliable feature to make it better. Songs like, Coach Carter, Nasty and Olympian shows that this music is not just for lyrical listeners, but also for many people to have fun to. This mixtape deserves a solid 8/10 for great content & A good body of work. With many successful projects Ferg has been releasing it is easy to see that he is growing on becoming on of the biggest names in Hip-Hop today.
